Different types and dimensions of dasherboard systems provide an easy way to surround the ice surface of an ice rink from the most common shapes of ice rinks to unusual ones, including ice tracks.

Wooden dasherboards

Arctic wooden dasherboards consist of processed wooden elements, attached to the metal construction and protected from external influences. They are manufactured either in white or natural wood colour, from 0.50 to 2 meters wide and 1 or 1.20 meters high. Wooden dasher boards are self-supporting and are fixed in the ice. They do not require ground attachments, drilling or burying, so the surface where the ice rink is installed is not damaged.

Polyethylene dasherboards

Arctic polyethylene dasherboards are made of white PE sheets, attached to self-supporting steel frames with polyethylene handrails. PE dasherboards are manufactured for different ice rink types and purposes. For recreational purposes there are available dasherboards from 0.5 to 2 metres wide and 1 metre high, while for official sports competitions dasherboards are manufactured according to the official standards, from 0.5 to 2 metres wide and 1.2 metre high.

Polycarbonate dasherboards

Arctic polycarbonate dasherboards are made of polycarbonate transparent sheets, attached to self-supporting steel frames with polyethylene handrail. They are manufactured from 0.5 to 2 meters wide and 1 meter high. This type of dasherboard is impact – resistant but it is intended only for recreational ice rinks.

LED dasherboard systems

New available product are dasherboard systems with integrated LED lighting. LED lights are integrated in each dasherboard element separately, which provides modularity, easy installation and disassembling of the dasherboard, as well as a quick replacement of LED lights in case of malfunction. This type of dasherboard system creates a special atmosphere to an ice rink and the project as a whole.
